The hadronic calorimeter

The hadronic shower leakage from the LKr calorimeter is measured by a conventional Fe/scintillator calorimeter. It is divided longitudinally into two stacks and contains in total 49 layers of 11.9cm 130cm .45cm scintillator slabs oriented either horizontally or vertically. The thickness of the hadronic calorimeter corresponds to 7.2 interaction lengths and the energy resolution obtained is
