The charged hodoscope

The precise time reference of a decay is provided by two planes of 64 horizontal and 64 vertical NE-110 scintillator counters. These counters have a width of 6.5cm and a thickness of 2cm. The time resolution of an individual counter is better than 400ps yielding thus a time resolution of better than 200ps for a two-pion event.
